We recently surveyed more than 1000 Rational readers of PersonalityZone (as well as Artisans, Guardians, and Rationals) to find out what they thought of 15 Summer 2009 movies - which ones they would recommend others to see, as well as which ones to skip. These results may help you pick a movie this weekend that you will like - as well as find a movie that your date or friends of other temperaments will also enjoy. There are a few that, depending on the temperament of your companion(s), you may want to postpone for another time, as not all movies were enjoyed equally by all temperaments or by both men and women. Several movies stood out as clear winners, no matter the temperament or gender of the rater: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Start Trek, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen rate a solid "thumbs up" by all. The Hangover is another good choice, unless you are a Rational female, in which case you might want to see My Sister's Keeper while the others are at The Hangover. Up is a strong choice for all Rationals - invite your Idealist friends to go along.

The next group represents movies that scored in the middle of the pack. Most Rationals enjoyed these movies enough that they would recommend them either as a back up choice at the theater or to watch when they come out on video.

The final group scored at the bottom, you might want to consider another activity, or getting a DVD. Bottom line: looks like you want to avoid Cheri and G-Force.
